Some of the topics covered will be composition, shutter speed, aperture settings, depth-of-field, lighting and resolution. Students will learn how to use Photoshop CS3 to edit, touch-up, enhance and manipulate their pictures. Each unit will start with the class viewing samples from expert photographers. The students will learn the techniques for this type of photography and then have to create a portfolio of this type of work. At the end of the class, students will submit a portfolio of their best work in digital form.
